While The Elephant Sanctuary is not open to the public, education about the complex needs of elephants in captivity and the crisis facing elephants in the wild is an important part of The Sanctuary’s mission.

The Elephant Sanctuary’s Elephant Discovery Center in Hohenwald, TN offers in-person opportunities to meet staff and participate in special elephant-focused programing. There are no elephants at the Elephant Discovery Center.

To see the elephants in their habitats, we invite you to watch our live-streaming HD EleCams.

Please explore our website to learn more about The Sanctuary, the elephant crisis, and how you can lend your voice.
